Rodents

Rodents are very difficult pests to completely rid from your property. Rats and mice especially are very resilient animals that can fit through very small gaps in your walls and floors. Gaps under and behind kitchen cabinets are particularly attractive, as they are close to food and water.

Rats and mice are highly social, curious, nocturnal animals that will gain access into homes and businesses.  Mice can fit through openings as small as the size of a dime. While they have a place in nature, the damage rats and mice can cause and the health risks they pose make them very hazardous pests.

There are a few signs that indicate rodents are in your house:

  •     Dark droppings (mouse are 1/8 - 1/4 inch long, rat 1/4 - 1/2 inch long) with pointed ends
  •     Gnaw marks on wood, and damaged boxes or packages
  •     Insulation, cotton, paper, foliage debris - these are used for burrowing
  •     Greasy rub marks low on walls and skirting boards - these indicate paths the rodent travels
  •     Rat or mouse bodies

Your home needs to be protected from the diseases rodents can carry. Rats and mice can cause property damage, create an unsightly mess and unhealthy conditions for homes and businesses. Rats and mice leave tiny drops of urine along their paths, and their droppings that can carry disease.
